Greetings from the journey of redemption and faith! This week we’re diving into the latest chapter of my ongoing adventure, filled with twists, turns, and divine interventions.
As we enter mid-April 2024, I find myself reflecting on the profound transformations that have shaped my path from prison to pulpit. It’s been a journey marked by challenges, triumphs, and, above all, unwavering faith in the power of divine grace.
This week, I’m thrilled to share some updates with you. Firstly, I’ll be hosting a special in-person evangelism training called CoJourners this Wednesday, April 18th. During this session, we’ll delve into the themes of forgiveness, redemption, and finding purpose in unexpected places. Whether you’re a long-time follower or new to my story, I warmly invite you to join me as we explore these powerful concepts together.
In addition to the in-person evangelism training, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be releasing a new blog post next Monday, April 22nd. In this post, I’ll offer insights and reflections on the importance of resilience in the face of adversity. Drawing from my own experiences, I’ll share practical tips and strategies for overcoming obstacles and embracing new beginnings with courage and determination. Stay tuned for this empowering resource!
As always, I’m deeply thankful for the ongoing support and encouragement from each of you. Your messages of hope and encouragement reinforce a fundamental truth we explored this week from Acts 2:42-45 on the importance of a faith community. Together, we recognize that we’re not meant to journey alone. Our faith community serves as a cornerstone, helping us keep our lives centered around God, fostering connections with our spiritual family, and aiding in the development of spiritual maturity. In unity, we explore our ministry callings and work towards fulfilling our life missions. Thank you for being an integral part of this journey. Together, we are stronger.
So, here’s to embracing new beginnings, finding strength in adversity, and trusting in the divine plan that guides us all. This week, I’m particularly moved by Jaleel’s decision to be water-baptized—a powerful symbol of his new beginning as he prepares for a big move to Canada. Witnessing his commitment reinforces the transformative power of faith.

Personally, my own faith has been tested, yet the unwavering support of my faith community has been a source of immense encouragement.
Like Paul the apostle reminds us, “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
Paul of Tarsus
As we navigate the ups and downs of life, may we find strength in our collective journey of faith and redemption. Stay tuned for more updates and insights throughout the week, and together, let’s keep pressing on towards the great harvest awaiting us.
