As I reflect on my journey from prison to pulpit, one particular chapter stands out – the story of “Family Jamboree.” It’s a tale of divine guidance, unwavering faith, and the transformative power of community outreach.
Since the beginning of our journey to establish the Christian Life Center (CLC) West Boca campus, my wife Melissa, our leadership team, and I have been led by prophetic words and visions. Time and again, we felt a strong pull towards the Watergate Estate and Sandlefoot communities, discerning unmistakable signs that pointed us to our mission field.
The image of our team distributing bottles of “living water” in these neighborhoods crystallized our purpose and emphasized the significance of genuine connections beyond conventional church activities. Thus, “Fam Jam” was born – an outreach initiative crafted to love and serve the families in these communities.
With activities ranging from face painting to an Easter egg hunt, the day was filled with laughter and camaraderie. The participation of the Palm Beach Fire Department, together with Wawa’s generous donations, enhanced the sense of community unity and support.
One encounter during “Fam Jam” that touched me deeply was meeting Anthony, a neighbor whose grandchildren participated in the festivities. As I prayed with Anthony, I felt the bonds of community and the blessings of fellowship strengthen around us.
The presence of the HOA president and his wife further affirmed the warm welcome extended by the Watergate Estate and Sandlefoot community. It was a day filled with gratitude, love, and the knowledge that we were exactly where we were meant to be.
As I continue on this journey of faith, I carry with me the memories of “Family Jamboree” as a reminder of God’s guiding hand and the transformative power of serving others with love and compassion.

The “Family Jamboree” story is not just a chapter in my journey; it’s a testament to the boundless grace that has carried me from prison bars to the pulpit, and it’s a testament to the endless possibilities when we trust in God’s plan.
